My name is Larry Truex, a student of MCLennan Community College Waco, TX. U.S.A. My major is Arts (Specalized in Photography)macro photography for commercial application is my media of artistic expression. A senior citizen with extensive background in Machinist(areospace), AutoTechnician, and Computer trades. I easly cross technical bounderies in equipment design or use of computers for application. Photography has been a hobby since 1966, and has now gone digital. I'm one of those aquarious weidos and proud of it.

 

Camera Canon 5D eos 100mm macro lens. My table top studio is of my own design called "Macro Stage," and like a stage provides control of lights, background, subject placement, and angle of observation. This equipment permits camera control of 1/1000 inch accuracy in movements, and permits camera angles through 120 degrees on the vertical plane. All images were photographed on this stage.
Lighting has been a mix of studio electronic flash w/modeling light...performed in school lab (studio), and constant lighting at my home studio.
